About a month ago, FUSE TV invited Hoodie to be part of a new program they were working on. The mission was to bring two artists from completely separate worlds together to collaborate on an original song and then perform it live for an audience of their fans. In searching for a collaborator, Hoodie chose Youtube songstress Kina Grannis, someone whose vocal talent he has always admired since discovering her videos over a year ago.
Hoodie shares how FUSE gave them 24 hours to write a song from scratch, record it and get it ready for the big performance, stating that “This was definitely a crazy challenge but we got it done and ended up making one of my favorite new tracks”.
I just got back from her concert. So, if you don’t know who this person is, her name is Kina Grannis and you should go LISTEN TO HER MUSIC RIGHT NOW. She’s got an amazing voice and she’s awkwardly adorable!!!!

Here’s something a bit different, I love TedTalks and this has to be one of my favourites. I remember finding Kina Grannis’ first video over 5 years ago and have been following her journey ever since.
It’s incredible how far someone can go through trusting their instincts and passion and using the internet to their benefit. Label deals aren’t everything.
